The document describes various unmanned vehicle, future soldier, and surveillance prototypes and products developed by Macroswiss between 1999-2008 and 2009-2013. It includes details on over 30 different systems such as unmanned ground vehicles, unmanned underwater vehicles, soldier worn cameras, and control units. The summaries provide high-level overviews of the types of systems developed, time periods, and general purpose or functions.

micro ROV Maggie
Design, Prototyping and Production Past Experience
Date: 1999
Status: Prototype
Units made: 1
First Macroswiss Robot,
used directly exposed
halogen lamps tested in in-
house hyperbaric chamber to
300 ATM. Syntactic foam
(manufactured in house) also
tested to 300 ATM and used
as structure. Total weight 4
Kg. Tethered ROV.
Field tested to 400 mt depth.
4. Design, Prototyping and Production Past Experience
Developed between 1999 and
2001 the MACROSWISS
Maggie ROV was the last
ROV prototype manufactured
by Macroswiss. This
innovative, 3000 mt proof,
system used resin-sealed
brushless motors to avoid
issues of formation of carbon
clinkers in oil pressure-
compensated electric brush
motors. The unit was entirely
developed in Macroswiss, has
a weight of around 7 Kg and
lights for 200 W of halogen
bulbs. The engine
configuration granted this
prototype very good
maneuvrability which was
useful in operating in tight
areas.
The Maggie ROV has a carbon fibre chassis
which integrates syntactic foam (4000 mt proof
polyurethane-encased hollow glass
microspheres) as part of the structure, reducing
in this way both weight and size.
The 200 W lights are directly exposed to the
external pressure since the shape and strength
of the quartz glass bulb is sufficient to resist
depths far exceeding the maximum oceanic
depth.

Organic flexible design
providing very good handling
on broken terrain thanks to
flexibility of column. No need
for suspensions.
Medium ruggedization.
8. The Macroswiss Hydrobot is a concept
of a remotely operated submarine robot
designed for shallow marine and
freshwater surveillance activity (up to 30
mt.).
The Hydrobot has a dual camera
system, one which is underwater, and
one which is above water in the surface
antenna.
The surface antenna is hidden in a
floating decoy (seagull shaped for
marine use and duck shaped for
freshwater) that makes the Hydrobot
undetectable from the surface.
