A professor discusses a difficult to diagnose case of neck pain caused by the posterior displacement and compression of the trachea. The patient presented with neck pain but further examination revealed an unusual anatomical issue placing pressure on the trachea from behind. Proper diagnosis of the source of pressure on the trachea was needed to develop an effective treatment plan.
