PROJECT DAY! ANIP 2011. BARCELONA
TRADITIONAL CLOTHES AROUND THE WORLD
CONTENT NATIONALITIES CLOTHES COUNTRIES COLOURS STRUCTURES: ¡°I¡¯m wearing...¡±, ¡°My family comes from...¡±
RESOURCES The children bring information about: pictures, clothes, the flag, country¡¯s location in the map,countries¡¯ name in English. STUDENT ORGANISATION: We will work in groups of five.
ACTIVITIES: Locate your country on a world map and colour it on a blank world map. Identify th flag of your country in an Atlas and copy it on a paper and * stick it on the class world map. Describe the traditional clothes of your country.
ACTIVITIES: *Introduce some cloth vocabulary such as: skirt, T-shirt, belt, shoes, sock, hat, trousers,... Play some games to reinforce this vocabulary. E.g: memory game, miming, stand up if you¡¯re wearing,.... Listen to the songs and undertstand from them the English translation.
FINAL PROJECT: Drama: each group walks up and down infront of the class and  they also describe where they come from and what are they wearing while the music from their country sounds.  Booklet: make this with the information about the five countries (flags, clothes, names of the countries and nationalities)

Presentation of the project Show a model of the final product (gloster poster) to the students. Make groups.
Past : My favourite toy/place/activity  The teachers brings a toy. Children ask questions to the teacher in the past. (speaking) Doughnut game about the toy. (listening and speaking) Essay.(writing)
Present:  This is me... Children read a text about a person.(reading) They do a personal one following the model. (writing)
Future : I want to be... What do you want to be in the future? Listening and interview Role playing Record the  interview
