The document outlines a project to reduce dust at a direct reduced iron (DRI) plant. A team was formed to identify dust generating areas, reasons for dust generation, and potential solutions. The team conducted site visits, meetings, and feasibility studies. Key solutions identified included modifying chutes and ducts, installing impact idlers, dust suppression systems, and improving housekeeping. An action plan was created and progress was tracked. Video recordings showed dust reduction of 30% so far in the targeted areas. The next meeting was scheduled and the team thanked DRI staff for their support in reducing dust emissions.
