MMO mobile game by Evil Cookie
Project introduction
Gale Islands is a F2P-subscription hybrid
multiplatform MMORTS. “Islands” is planned as
a Steam/Teslapunk-style game.
Main platform targets in descending order are
- mobile
- browser
- PC
Visualization
Concepts of our world and island’s buildings:
Gameplay
Main gameplay is presented by tower defense
and grand (4X) strategy elements activities.
Whole point of the game is a standard “domination”
between players or/and group of players.
Game consists of:
- base construction
- global map
- battle
Base
Bases or islands are used to increase the
power of player’s fleets and resource production.
Players can conquer, occupy, abandon and rebuild
islands as they wish.
Bases generate events to control player's "comebacks" and
allow to improve various characteristics.
Battles
Battle initiated by several reasons including
siege and instant events. Mechanics are similar
to tower defense style with some modification for
gameplay dynamics improvement.
PvP is a main battle mode, but players are able to devote
themselves to PvE in the most.
Global map
Global map is huge, covered with “terra
incognita” and can be expanded any time at any
direction. Whole map is conditionally sliced to squares.
Players fleets are able to travel through the map, interact
with other players and cause instant events with various
scripts. All players can unite to alliances. Each player or
alliance has personal relationship status with other player
or other alliance.
Monetization
All game cycles are available for all players
through F2P conception. Monetization is
presented by subscription and micro-transactions.
Subscription offers: automation features, additional
experience and resources gain, unique skills and skins.
Microtransactions provide a lot of all kind type “busters” and
miscellaneous services.

- Intuitive gameplay mechanics and UI
- Lightweight 3D real-time fights support up to 3
dozen units even on mobile devices
- Flexible gameplay cycles satisfy both gamer types:
tacticians and strategists
