study by the students and the rest of the educational community, the real
situation of the center with regard to waste management, energy expenditure,
water use, quality of human relations.
Compare the results obtained with primary schools in our partner countries of
our Etwinning project.
Establish an agreement or action plan among all partners, to solve
environmental problems identified.
6. PRODUCTS
Comparative dossier with the results of the different ecoaudits:
Water ecoaudit.
Waste ecoaudit.
Use of paper ecoaudit.
Energy ecoaudit.
Decalogue with the 10 most voted rules for our centers to become greener
spaces.
Video with the celebration of World Environment Day. (5th June).
7. WORK PROCESS
The Project will be divided into
three sections:
Knowledge about the partners.
Phases of ecoaudits.
Improvement plan.
8. Block 1
-After making contact in the etwinning platform, the
coordinators will prepare a Facebook group called MR.
Ecologic is coming in which all the teachers involved will
participate as well as legal representatives. Teachers
must also have an active twitter account for more
immediate communications.
-If we want our students use social networks we may use
the Edmodo Platform.
-Of course we will create a section for our Project in the
official website of each school.
-We will use Skipe for online communication.
-We will also create a YouTube channel where we can
upload all the videos about the development of the
project.
-For tools, spreadsheets, drives ... docs, ppt ... we will
have to make a consensus among the participating
countries to use all participants the same.
-Project Facilitators teachers or tutors will create groups
with TeamUp: http://teamup.aalto.fi/
Knowledge
about the
partners
9. Block 2
The e-activity is in the first phase of our
project, Mr. Ecological visits us,
detection.
To prepare in each of the schools Mr.
Ecological visit first we will conduct a
study to know the starting point. In this
case we will see what type and amount
of paper the school buys.
OBJECTIVES
Know how much paper the school buys
and what kind of paper is.
Reflect on the use and consumption of
paper and its environmental implications.
The final product of our task will be to
show in a big poster the results
depending on the number of trees that
we have consumed during the school
year (one ton of white paper equals
approximately 7 to 10 trees), making
graphics, statistical data ...
Develop a Decalogue among all the
countries with the most voted proposals
to reduce or improve the use of paper..
Ecoaudits

10. Block 2
Once the groups have been created, the cards
are dealt and tasks are distributed as follows:
GROUP 1: Study of the uses by the teachers.
GROUP 2: Study of the uses in the secretary´s
office.
GROUP 3: Study of the uses by the students.
It is compulsory to ask the teachers, students and
person in charge of purchases at the Secretary´s
office not in the Management office. Then it is
necessary to calculate how much paper the
school buys per person, if it prioritises recycling,
if copies are made on both sides, what kind of
papers are used in other areas of the school:
dining, extracurricular activities ...
The same groups are responsible for investigating
which one is the most appropriate
and some measures are proposed to reduce or
improve their use.
COLABORATION
The activity is collaborative, as it is to see the
results in each School.
The Decalogue: Take advantage of your paper, it
will be made by a vote of all the proposals of
the schools.
Ecoaudits

11. Block 2
OBJECTIVES
Identify the features of the lighting
system, number of lamps and their
status.
PROCEDURE
We will assign each of the school units
to a group andthis one will analyze
the lighting, the number and type of
lamps, their status and impressions of
people about it.
Each group will draw conclusions
about their observations and these
will be presented at a meeting jointly
providing solutions to improve the
current situation.
Ecoaudits:
Analysis of the
lighting system
14. Twinspace
In TwinSpace, the groups will upload images of their work
as well as a final video with the conclusions
It is compulsory participation in a Forum after each ecoaudit
to propose improvement actions.
15. Evaluation
Group work will be assessed mainly, as it is the thickness of the project.
