This test report summarizes antimicrobial testing of bamboo fiber tableware. The tableware was tested against Escherichia coli according to ISO 22196:2011. Results showed the log value of bacteria recovered from the tableware was 3.90 after 0 hours of contact and 5.58 after 24 hours of contact, demonstrating the antimicrobial activity of the sample against E. coli. The control sample without antimicrobial activity had a higher log value after 24 hours, indicating bacterial growth.
