Psoric headache is characterized by headaches in the frontal, temporal, and tempo-parital regions. It is caused by hunger, sun exposure, or suppressed eruptions. The headaches are often one-sided or long-standing like migraines, with a sharp, severe, and paroxysmal sensation. The headaches worsen in the morning when the sun ascends and improve in the afternoon when the sun descends, as well as with rest, quiet, sleep, and hot applications. Associated symptoms include bilious attacks once or twice per month, throbbing and redness of the face, and great hunger before and during the headache.
