Public Health is defined as the art and science of
preventing disease, prolonging life and promoting
health through the organized efforts of society

recorded a total of 3.4 million
cholera cases and 65,600
deaths. In 2016, major cholera
epidemics affected several
areas in the world, including
Haiti in the Americas, DRC,
Somalia and the United
Republic of Tanzania in Africa,
and Yemen in Asia.[6]

variety of social, economic, environmental, and behavioral

our bodies.
5. Washing hands before eating food helps stop germs getting
into our bodies.
6.Washing clothes keep them free of disease-causing germs.
7. Hanging clothes in the sun helps to kill some disease-casuing
germs and parasites.
