8. The Technical Expertise to support the LG&CDD in
Project preparatory studies in applicant cities, design of
program and Env Safeguards and PFR and Tranches in
close coordination with concerned agencies .

25. SCOPE of Studies
The assignment will be undertaken in two
phases consisting of the development of
an integrated 5 Year Medium Term
Infrastructure Investment Plan (Phase 1)
and follow-on Pre-feasibility Studies (PFS)
for priority urban infrastructure
investments in a selected sector (s)
(Phase 2).
26. It is anticipated that the outcome of Phase
1 MTIIP (recommendations on phased
investments and identification of priority
investments) will provide the focus and
framework for Phase 2 PFSs in each city.
The total duration of the assignment will
be 4 months with Phase 1 completed
between months 1 to 2, and Phase 2
completed between months 3 to 4
