We inspect
every part to
make sure

receive
genuine
quality parts,

• Upon delivery of the product, we visually inspect the packages
for any damage and have the carrier note any damage before
signing for product.
• We make a photo copy of all COD shipment tracking number
labels.
• Next, we carefully open product packaging making sure not to
damage product.
• Then we retrieve the packing slip from packaging &
print a copy of the Purchase order and file it.

• We verify part number markings on incoming product and on
manufacturers label if available.
• Then we test sample parts with Acetone checking to be sure
none of the part number or surface rubs off.
• Next, we check for double markings or anything unusual.
• And compare part with Manufacturers
Data Sheet for any discrepancies.

• We verify the material is in the proper packaging for its type,
ie. tray, tube, tape & reel, etc.
• Then, verify the quantity by counting all incoming product.
• We perform Lead Check on all incoming BGA’s marked ROHS
Compliant using 3M Lead Check Swabs following the
directions on the package. Record results and file.

Every step insures
that the parts we
deal with are real
genuine parts.
• Using the microscope, check for scratches, missing balls, bent
leads/pins or any other defects. Note any discrepancies you find
on your paperwork and notify purchasing immediately.

 Make notes on the copy of the Purchase Order the
Manufacturer, date code, Country of Origin, type of
packaging, whether or not the product is ROHS compliant
(lead free), MSL Level, the date & quantity received and
damage (if any).
 As you can see, from choosing a supplier, to our thorough
inspection process, we are doing everything we can in order
to protect our customers from counterfeit, or poor quality
parts.

 Take a picture(s) of ALL incoming product
◦ Take a picture of all labels, packaging and actual part
◦ Load pictures onto the external hard drive naming them after
the PO
 Re-seal all moisture sensitive packaging using the vacuum sealer
immediately after inspection in moisture barrier protective
packaging with MSL label indicating level of sensitivity in space
provided.

 We then send an email to the buyers/purchasers &
HR to notify them that their parts have arrived,
including any notes about discrepancies.
 Finally, we place the parts in our shipping area and
await instructions for shipping or storing parts.

• Each vendor must be carefully researched and pre-qualified
to ensure that the product being supplied is procured from a
safe, reputable source.
• Pre-Screening all prospective vendors will include (but not
limited to) checking industry websites to find out what other
companies have had for dealings with them. It will also
include checking with companies in the industry to get
references.
• Any qualified vendor will remain approved unless any issues
arise (i.e. bad parts, wrong parts, etc.)
