What is Acne? Acne is a disease in which the hair follicles on your skin become clogged and infected. This results in one of the three types of acne lesions to form .
Types of Acne Lesions: Black heads -  are the outcome of follicles that have a wider than normal opening.  White heads -  are a type of acne that remain under the surface of the skin . Cysts -  are painful, deep, and pus-filled pimples, which are prone to scarring.

Is Popping Pimples Good or Bad? Popping pimples is certainly not going to help in controlling the outbreak of acne. In fact, it is one of the most common causes of acne. Its best to let the pimples heal on their own.
