Social & Political Pledge for 4% to educ’n
• In Ghana, SEND engaged local res coms to
monitor school feeding scheme -> improved village inf
• In Malawi, CSCfQBE conducted PETS & engaged govt
• In Palestine, student social audits, Min of Educ’n, ACC
• In SA, LRC w courts, Equal Educ’n w Treasury, PPFC

• Symbiotic engagement of the legislature, SAI,
judiciary, media, cs, donors and
sympathetic insiders in govt
• CS can play an important role
where legislatures or SAIs are weak
• Start with what matters to people – e.g.
service delivery demand + different pathways
