This document discusses how a media product represents social groups through the ages of the actors. It notes that all the actors in the piece are between 13-15 years old, representing younger audiences who can relate to the school-aged characters. By featuring teenage actors, the media product aims to attract a similar demographic as other works like Mary Poppins that involve family stories with child actors.

Question 2
1. !
How does your media product represent particular social groups?!
My media product represents certain social groups because of the ages of the actors in my piece
of work. All my actors are between the ages of 13 and 15 so this helps my audience because
normally in media 鍖lms, the lower the age of the actors the lower the ages of the audience. Such
as Mary Poppins has a family with 2 children acting and its been released as a disney 鍖lm so the
younger generation would probably prefer going to see it however No Country for Old Men would
be aimed for a older generation because of the violence involved and the language used. Also my
media product involves school children so they can relate to going to school themselves.!
