- 1. Who would be the audience for your media product? *
- 2. * *The stereotypical audience for a Post Apocalyptic film are middle class people who live in either the North West or the South. Stereotypically, these films are usually aimed at middle aged men so there is a chance to show the male gaze to entice the target audience into watching the film. Also during the research process I found that most of the people who watched one post apocalyptic film also enjoyed all of the other films which suggests that they love the genre or the actors
- 3. * *To reach this target audience I created the idea that man was the all powerful. This would please the target audience of a Post Apocalyptic film as they are generally men. However, I also went against the target audience by choosing a female lead which would please feminist fans as it is a strong independent woman taking control within the film.
- 4. * *The film attracts the stereotypical male audience by showing a relatable plot and by having a character who breaks gendered stereotypes within the Post Apocalyptic genre. Furthermore the film pleases both Post Apocalyptic fans and non fans alike through the journey of the character and the struggle of humanity (things people who watch this genre enjoy)
