Rchiele is a village located in the Apuseni Mountains of Cluj County, Romania. It is spread across 60 square kilometers along several valleys and hills. The village is first documented from 1792 when its first church was built. A wooden church was also built in 1911. The most notable feature is the Bride's Veil Waterfall, which is located at an altitude of 1000 meters and has two stages totaling 30 meters. It is the center of village life, where villagers wash clothes and animals drink. In winter, it forms an ice wall popular for climbing.

Rchiele is a village in the
Mrgu township, Cluj County,
located in the Apuseni
Mountains near Vatra Dornei
and the Apuseni National Park.
The Rchiele households are
spread over an area
of approximately 60 square
kilometers along several valleys
(the Rchi釘ele Valley, the
Stanciului Valley, the Agastu
Valley and the Gingineasa
Valley) and also alongside hills
(the Rinarului Hill, the Faa
Hill, the Sulia Hill, the Merior
Hill, the Cucului Hill).
Banks valleys crossing along
and across the village are lined
wicker which apparently is
named village Cranberries .
3. First documented attestation
The first documented
attestation of this
settlement in the
Vldeasa ridge dates
from 1792, when its
first church was built,
the place of worship
was erected near the
location of the current
church in the old
cemetery. Also, the
Rchiele Wooden
Church was built in
1911.
6. The Brides Veil
The most spectacular thing
about this village is its
waterfall, the Vlul Miresei
Waterfall (Brides Veil
Waterfall) that represents
the center of the wholes
village activity.
The villagers live their lives
in harmony with this water
course, youngsters bathing
in its waters during
summer and women
washing clothes, animals
drinking in their way to the
pasture.
7. The Brides Veil
Located at an altitude of
1000 meters the Bride's
Veil is a two-stage
cascade having its two
steps totaling a
difference of approx. 30
meters. At the bottom of
the first step there is a
deep hollow with a
diameter of 10 m, which
ensures water dispersion
giving it its resemblance
to a veil. In the winter it
forms a wall of ice where
many tourists and locals
can practice climbing .
