Shri Kripaluji Maharaj is commenting on a couplet from the "Radha Govind Geet" about Radha and Krishna gazing lovingly at each other. He says when the divine couple is lost in loving glances, what is left for the devotee? He asks them on behalf of the devotee to please spare a fleeting glance, which would grant the devotee eternal bliss and liberation from Maya. Even a momentary glance from Radha and Krishna is enough to realize God and be forever blissful. Shri Maharajji sees multiple layers of meaning and philosophy in expressing the devotee's longing for the divine vision.

1. Radha Govind Geet – Part 4
We shall continue with the opening couplets from „Radha Govind Geet‟ – „Dainya Madhuri‟.
Couplet 14
Radhe dekhe Govind Govind Radhe
Humko bhi dekhe kou ja ke bata de
Jagadguru Shri Kripaluji Maharaj says,
“Shri Radha has her eyes constantly fixed on Shri Krishna. She is always gazing at her soul beloved.”
The beauty and grandeur of Shri Radha is impossible even for Shri Krishna to behold or explain! Such is the greatest of their
divine leela.
In such a situation, Shri Kripaluji Maharaj says, “When both Shri Radha and Shri Krishna are locked in their leela of loving
glances and gazing, what becomes of me!”
“Please go and tell them to grace me with a fleeting glance!”
Jagadguru Shri Kripaluji is surely the most romantic of the rasik saints, laced with his cutting edge philosophical principles.
The poetry of love and romance in the realm of spirituality is so deep, that one cannot express it purely in words.
Shri Maharajji is speaking on behalf of the devotee in this couplet encompassing multiple dimensions at the same time!
Even in our material world, when we see a couple lost in love with their eyes fixed on each other, friends around them would
joking remark, „Hello!! Are you guys blind? Look at us, we are also here!”
The friends feel left out and are reminding the couple to at least look at them if not speak!
In the same tone, Shree Maharajji says (on behalf of a devotee), “Oh Shri Radha and Krishna, just have a momentary glance
at me!”
What becomes of a devotee who has the greatest of fortunes when Shri Radha and Krishna, out of their causeless grace, look
towards him?
The devotee is for ever gratified and receives their divine love for eternity. He receives the divine vision of Shri Radha
Krishna and a momentary glance is enough for the deserving devotee. He becomes a God-realized soul and blissful for ever.
That is reason Shri Maharajji is requesting Shri Radha Krishna to look at their devotees who are crying for their divine
vision. If they glance, the devotee is freed from the clutches of Maya and will forever relish the nectar of divine bliss by
being lost in love, gazing at the eyes of his beloved Shri Radha Krishna!
Such is the deep philosophical and romantic treasure hidden in just two simple lines!
