Ramadhan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and one of the five pillars of Islam, during which Muslims fast from dawn to dusk. Fasting has many benefits, including acting as an intercessor on Judgment Day and protecting oneself from Hellfire, as well as personal, social, hygienic, and spiritual rewards. Good deeds are multiplied in value during Ramadhan, with some acts being rewarded up to 700 times more than usual.
