New Mind NLP Academy provides training on rapporting using neuro-linguistic programming. Rapporting involves matching another person's physiology like posture, gestures, facial expressions and breathing, as well as tonality of voice including pitch, speed, quality and loudness. It also involves matching the other person's use of words like predicates, key words, common experiences and content chunks. Developing rapport through these matches creates a sense of responsiveness and liking between people even if they do not consciously like each other. The training focuses on using these rapport techniques at the physiological level which accounts for 55% of rapport, the tonal level at 38%, and through word choices at 7%.
