Rasheem went with Josiño for
a boat ride on Sunday.
This type of boat is
known as “dorna”.
A “dorna” is a type of
Galician boat. It is
used for fishing on the
southwest coast of
Galicia.
Here is Rasheem on
the mast.
Rasheem was very
brave! He wasn’t
afraid of getting
wet!
Land ahoy!
Monday
On Monday Rasheem spent
the afternoon with Breogán.
They went downtown to the
city center.
This peculiar statue
is called the

male siren.
Then it was time to
read and study so
Breogán and Rasheem
went to a library.
Later, they went to
the town hall.

(America Square) Rasheem
liked this statue. It represents
Vigo as a door to the Atlantic
Ocean .
Tuesday
On Tuesday it was time for
Marina to take Rasheem for a
walk around town. Rasheem
felt as he was in San Fermín!
Then they sat in the
sun as old people
do.
Rasheem and his
friend Jules Verne.
Vigo is mentioned on Verne’s
book 20.000 LEAGUES UNDER
THE SEA.
Rasheem loved this
