The Department of General Services will hold a public meeting on December 17th at 6pm at the Frank D. Reeves Municipal Center to discuss the proposed disposition of the building. The District of Columbia plans to dispose of the Reeves Center as part of assembling land to construct a new soccer stadium in Southwest DC. The meeting will analyze potential impacts of redeveloping the Reeves Center site and identify strategies to mitigate those impacts.

Reeves Center Disposition Meeting in December

BACKGROUND:
The Department of General Services (DGS) will host a public meeting on the proposed
disposition of the Frank D. Reeves Municipal Center (Reeves Center) located at 2000
14th Street, NW. The meeting will be held on the first floor of the Reeves Center.
The District of Columbia proposes to dispose of the Reeves Center in connection with
the assemblage of land to construct a soccer stadium at Buzzard Point in Southwest, DC.
As part of this process, DGS is undertaking a process to analyze potential impacts
related to the proposed disposition and redevelopment of the Reeves Center site. The
process will also identify mitigation strategies to minimize these impacts.
