Della reflects on how her view of teaching mathematics has changed from solely using traditional classroom methods like chalkboards and textbooks to realizing she now has many online resources available from mentors across the Caribbean and worldwide through the internet. She feels energized and empowered with her newfound knowledge to bring math to life for her students and motivate them to do well, hoping to impart what she has learned in a way that enhances their education and spiritual growth.

- 2. I used to think that mathematics could be taught only one way
- 3. using chalk and board
- 4. text books and paper
- 5. Boring lectures and home-work
- 6. Now my eyes are opened and I have so many resources available to me
- 7. I am not limited to a class room in the hills of Grenada
- 8. But I have assistance from mentors all across the Caribbean, an entire University of professionals and the diverse world wide web
- 9. I am now energized
- 11. to seek and save the lost students of my math class and even my biology class
- 12. I am going to bring math to life, and motivate my students to do well
- 13. By the grace of God I hope that I can impart my new found knowledge to my students in the most appropriate manner for their educational and spiritual development
