Problem
Nowadays, building a house of your own has become one of the fundamental needs. But
money and resources are the problem. And there are times that they have to request for help
from professionals. But is there a guarantee that the estimations they make for the building
materials/ resources are 100% not fraud full or be sure whether they are not trying to cheat
on the investor? So isn’t it will be tactically beneficial if the investor could know and be surely
aware of the outcome of his invest!!
Solution
CONSowN is the solution.
What is CONSowN ?
This is Microsoft windows 8 and mobile phone software for everyone who are willing to
construct anything. And that provides the user with information about the Quantity of
materials that needs to your construction. So you can have a brief idea about your building
and discourages fraud and corruption and wastage in construction.
So No More Fears………

User Scenario
Scenario 1 : Mr Sunil is willing to build a new house but he is not sure whether the
money he has is enough or not. So by using this application he can get the quantities of
the each material he wants to use and the price estimate.
Scenario 2: Mr Pereira has a small construction firm. One of His clients wants to know
about exact sum of quantities of each material going to use in the Full construction
project. As he is a small scale businessman he is not affordable to hire a Professional to
make it done. So by using this application Mr Pereira can do that very easily.
Scenario 3: Mr Kithmini is a Quantity Surveyor. Estimating the Quantities of each
material will be used in the construction project according to the plan is a part of his
job. And this application will help to make his profession very easy.
Impact of Solution
 Main purpose of this software is to provide an idea about Quantities of each material
according to the British standards so no need to doubt whether the construction workers
are not telling the truth.
 This will be a great help for everyone who are not affordable to hire a Quantity surveyor.
 Users can get value estimate so he can manage his material procurement more carefully.
 As investors are conscious with the help of this application, no chance for fraud and
corruption.
 The interface is clean and simple so even a first time user can successfully use this
application without any hesitation.

Discuss Business Viability of Application
 We suppose to deliver a beta version of this application to verify whether an
implemented version would be much eligible.
 We are planning a 7 days trial of our System to people who are willing to use this
application.
 We have obtained this expertise knowledge from Qualified Quantity Surveyor. And they
have ensured this software as very useful for the construction field.
 Profits from the trial will be used to grow the system to encompass all of Christchurch.
Later, it can be implemented in other cities.
