This document discusses the Moodle online learning platform for a Business English course. It explains that there are 8 lessons in Business English 1 and 12 lessons in Business English 2 on Moodle. In addition to the lessons, there are 3 extra sections: Information, Miscellaneous Things, and Focus on Diversity. The document urges students to visit Moodle at least once a week to prepare for class and learn concepts, practice exercises, and download additional resources. It describes the basic elements of each lesson on Moodle - contents, extra resources, and tasks - and advises students to focus on the contents and tasks if taking the shortest approach.

(John speaks English)
Splendor in the grass, 1961 (Dir. Elia Kazan)
The platform MOODLE in Business English has been organized in a regular basis of
lessons going from the first lesson to the last one.
Therefore, there are 8 lessons in Business English 1 and 12 lessons in Business English 2.
Apart from those lessons, there are 3 extra lessons at the bottom of the
vertical axis page, namely INFORMATION, MISCELLANEOUS THINGS,
FOCUS ON DIVERSITY.
INFORMATION (Hoja del alumno, dates of exams, reminders, important things
for the student, notebook conditions, rules in the classroom)
MISCELLANEOUS THINGS (Parallel Papers, summer tasks, copies or scans
from the textbook or a different book, Practice Files)
FOCUS ON DIVERSITY (interesting links for the student, procedures, English
language 1st year)
I suggest that the student visits Aula Virtual (also known as @moodle) at least
once every week. It is important for the student to get ready for the classroom. In
the Aula Virtual one will learn notions of theory and will have the opportunity to
practise exercises, do some listenings and download papers on functional language,
as well as wordlists, texts, reminders, etcetera.
The Aula Virtual is a parallel class. Ignoring this class would be a terrible mistake.
Every lesson has got 3 basic elements: contents (CONTENIDOS), extra
resources (RECURSOS COMPLEMENTARIOS) and tasks (TAREAS).
The theory element belongs to contents (CONTENIDOS).
The practice element belongs to extra resources (RECURSOS
COMPLEMENTARIOS) and tasks (TAREAS).
If you choose the shortest way, try to get involved with the block of contents and
tasks.
