This document presents a remote monitoring system that consists of a hardware module to acquire electrocardiographic (ECG) and body temperature signals, a Bluetooth transmission module to send the information via IP (GPRS or Wi-Fi) networks to a database server containing clinical data, and a displaying module on a PC or mobile device to access the data through a web application. The system was tested on different patients with support from a medical doctor and showed positive performance for remote monitoring of ECG and temperature signals.

ABSTRACT
The paper presents a remote monitoring system for electrocardiographic and
