Renewable energy sources like wind, solar, hydro, and waste can help address issues with current energy sources that harm the environment and will deplete over the next few years. The document focuses on electric power production from waste, where waste is used as fuel in a boiler to create high pressure steam. This steam then drives the turbine of a generator to produce electricity. The process reduces the solid waste by over 90% and recovers materials, with exhaust filtered before being emitted. Renewable energy is seen as a promising alternative due to its clean nature and diverse sources that are not at risk of depletion.
2. Renewable Energy
Introduction
Renewable energy is an alternative energy for the current energies that harm our
environment and they will have been depleted by the next few years. On the other
hand, there are many kinds of renewable energies such as winds, solar, waterfalls
and wastes, all of these energies can use in several applications with more save and
age, mainly in the production of the power, so we are going to describe the simple
processes of producing the electric power from wastes.
Electric power Production from Waste Process
The waste power plant consists of several components as in the figure below.
Firstly, wastes are fed to the boiler and they become as a fuel to generate a steam
with high pressure and temperature, then the solid mass is reduced to over 90% and
the rest is recovered, then the superheated steam is routed to blades, which are
fitted on the shaft of turbine, and directly they are rotated by the this steam to
produce the electric power and it is distributed to utilities. Finally the exhausts are
filtered to stack and fly ash and the latter is recovered.
Conclusion
In conclusion, we can say that the renewable energy takes the interesting and the
advantage from a lot of researchers in several fields, because it a clean energy as
well as it has a various sources and there it is not endangered.
