The group divided responsibilities for their client brief, with each member focusing on a different section. Heather focused on the target audience and college applications. Lewis focused on personnel costs and resources. The author focused on legal and ethical considerations like copyright, racial and gender issues, and privacy. These issues are important for promotional videos to avoid upsetting audiences or violating copyright. The brief is still being negotiated as they await a response from the client.

When we were in the process of creating our client brief we all decided to focus on a main
part each. This meant that all of us were working on different sections and then when we
had all finished we put together all of the work we had done and this then created our final
brief. In our group there is me; Heather Lomas and Lewis Bradley. Heather focused on the
applications side of the brief such as the target audience and about the college. Lewis was
focusing on the personnel side of the brief such as the cost and resources.I was focusing on
the legal and ethical considerations part of the brief meaning I was speaking about:
. Copyright Issues
. Racial and Culture issues
. Gender considerations
. Privacy
These issues are all very important when it comes to creating a promotional video (or any
video for that matter) as we do not want to upset the audience as this will cause anger.
Copyrightissues are also very important and need to be considered when it comes to
creating a video as it has to be made sure that all work is original and not copied from any
other video on the internet. We would say this is a negotiated brief as we have emailed our
client and are waiting for a response from him.
