India is expected to produce more multinational companies than any other emerging country over the next 15 years, according to a PwC report. The report found that over 2,200 Indian companies will likely establish foreign operations in that time, surpassing China. This trend is driven by increasing globalization and improvements in communication technology that allow more emerging market firms to operate internationally. Indian and Chinese companies will lead this trend, joined by businesses from countries like Singapore, Russia, and South Korea.
