This document is a project proposal to extend a reinforced concrete structure. It includes calculations of the dead and live loads acting on the existing structure and proposed extension. The dead loads accounted for the self-weight of concrete slabs of varying thicknesses. The live loads were quantified according to the intended use of each room, such as 3.0 kN/m^2 for a laundry room and 2.0 kN/m^2 for a studio. Floor plans and structural plans of the proposed extension are also included.
