This document describes using a deep residual network to classify images into 10 classes using a dataset of 32x32 RGB images. The network architecture is evaluated on a validation dataset, achieving 87.93% accuracy and an average F-measure of 88.12%. The network was trained using Nesterov optimization with a learning rate that decayed with cosine annealing and a momentum of 0.9.
