Creating Agile Minds
for a Changing World -
talks on the topic of
entrepreneurship by
Chris Bissex and Lee
Sharma
1) Talk by Chris Bissex (from the College Merthyr Tydfil) re how to
teach enterprise, why it is important for young learners. The
younger the students, the more creativity.
2) Simply Do Ideas (www.simplydo.io) "We as teachers want to
encourage an enterprising mind set for the pupils." by Lee Sharma
Simply Do is a platform helping young learners to create business
ideas. The website layout is light, playful and simple for better
motivation. Students can upload photos and videos to visualize
their business ideas. They will have to think of potential customers,
competitors and create a financial calculation. The layout resembles
popular software such as WhatsApp. Students can create an
account, other members are able to comment on their friends' ideas.
Some discussion followed about how useful Simply Do Ideas can be
for the KCC project. Further discussion to follow. Berlin planning to
test the software during grade 5 English lessons in December.

practical usage)
Angeliki presented the use of ETwinning and our Twin space. It was
decided that only Angeliki creates pages. It was proposed to set up
these pages:
1. KCC project plan
2. Getting to know each other
3. Cooperative: Ready to be born
4. Cooperative official documents
5. TPM: Transnational Project Meetings
6. School Song Contest
7. Assessment
8. Election Campaign
9. LTTA Camps
10. Dissemination
11. Media
Various recommendation of the eTwinning use:
Teachers should invite pupils (name: surname: could be the name
of the country, if you click on export you can download the Excel
File with pupils Data. You can also invite external visitors.
Its important to respond to others posts to show collaboration
among partners.
If you post a video/photos/etc. its important to write a caption
naming all the partner teachers who participated in the creation.
At the end of the project every single school can apply for a Quality
Label.
