This document discusses professional cricket photography and what makes for a good cricket photo. It references an interview with photographer Altaf Bhat about the types of shots that can capture the emotion of a cricket match, from celebrations to disappointment. The photographer aims to show the progression of a match and capture the passion of the sport through expressions and interactions between players. Examples are given from photographs of the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup that depict triumph, sorrow in crowds, and different emotional reactions on the field.

he wants in a cricket picture how that Cricket matches can produce
some of the best images you get you have a wide range of shots that
range from the bowler bowling the ball, to batsman playing a shot or

full flow that show the raw passion of the game with joy and anger
just by the expression of how a shot is played or the signals they

I chose his selection because his style is similar into what I am
planning for the photoshoot because he wants to have the expression
on the people and how they interact with each other and how the
photographs can show the progression of the match and this is what I
am exactly doing at the moment and how I want my photographs to
do to tell the progression of the game.
The images come from the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup in India when
the hosts won the tournament and Altaf Bhat spoke to all the
photographers for Reuters and saying what he wants in the picture
and be able to present online to show to people. The Photographs
below show all forms cricket from triumph to sorrow in the crowds
face in defeat all the images below are what I want to achieve in my
