2. I have chosen a Medieval environment
to build as this allows me to create
simple modular models for walls,
towers and houses. This also allows me
to experiment with the different
materials of a basic city. The props
needed include interior decoration and
exterior decoration to create a greater
aesthetic look to the environment.
The medieval period was from the years 1000AD-1500AD and living was still very
basic with the use of iron and steel was just coming into use for weapons and
armour as this time period was based around wo owned the most land and who
was the richest. The race for power meant there was a lot of wars over land and
rivalry's, to compensate for this castles had to be able to with stand an attack at any
time.
