They are recruiting 30 individuals to complete an initial survey, after which 15 will be selected to participate in an online summer coding career program with coursework, professional meetings, and a paid internship. All participants will receive $45 for completing surveys, while those in the program also get $200 for activities, a paid internship, and a Chromebook.

About the Project
Career Development and Coding
Researchers from the University of Wisconsin-Madison are
conducting a research study on the career development of
youth with developmental disabilities. All participants will be
asked to complete a survey three times over the summer.
We are recruiting 30 individuals to complete the initial
survey. After completing the first survey, participants will be
entered into a lottery that will select 15 individuals for an
online summer program on introduction to careers in
coding. The program will involve online coursework,
meetings with professionals working in the field, and a paid
internship.
To be eligible to take part in this study, individuals must be a
member of a diverse racial or cultural group, have a
developmental disability, be between 16-24 years of age, and
live in the City of Chicago or Cook County.
