payments - Millennials and Gen-Zs
showing the strongest preference
 80% of restaurants interviewed are
familiar with, and use third-party
delivery apps
 90% of restaurants changed business
strategy to cope with the pandemic

restaurants agreed to using them.

 To satisfy customers, cut cost, customize orders, and assist staff, restaurants should be open to leveraging modern technology like Online Ordering and delivery of food with third-party
systems like DoorDash, UberEats and GrubHub, adopt Contactless Payments, QR codes, artificial intelligence-enabled technologies (chatbots, call assistants) and digital menu boards
 Stay open to exploring and learning about new trendy options that customers prefer and take advantage if other factors align
 Because technology can be expensive, restaurants must consider cost, staff and customer comfortability with these technologies, and respect state regulations in place
Many restaurants today than before the pandemic have adopted digitization and technological transformations like online ordering and third-party apps to deliver food and beverage,
artificial intelligence-enabled technologies, digital menu boards and QR codes to reduce cost, customize orders and meet customer demands. They have emerged as the winners.
