The respiratory system is made up of organs that work together to breathe. Air enters through the nose and mouth, then travels down the trachea into the lungs where oxygen passes into the bloodstream. The circulatory system then transports oxygen throughout the body while carbon dioxide is breathed out.

The respiratory sytem is a group of organs that work together to help us breathe.
We breathe in air through our nose and mouth. nose mouth
The air goes down through the trachea.
The air goes down our lungs. air lungs
Oxygen passes to the blood in the circulatory sytem, where it moves around our body.
We breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide.
