SALT THERAPY
In 460BC, Hippocrates discovered the natural healing powers of
using salt water steam for respiratory ailments.
Now you can have your very own salt room.
WHAT IS SALT THERAPY?
Salt therapy or halotherapy is a natural treatment during which
microscopic particles of salt are dispersed into a dedicated salt room
and inhaled by the occupants of the room.
Salt therapy cleans the airways and relieves congestion, as well as
reducing inflammation providing relief from skin conditions.
HOW DOES SALT THERAPY WORK?
Pharmaceutical grade salt is ground into microscopic particles by a
halogenerator which then disperses the salt into the room.
The microscopic salt particles enter the upper respiratory system (nose
and sinuses) then the lower respiratory system (trachea and lungs).
BENEFITS OF SALT THERAPY
Salt has anti-inflammatory, antihistamine and antibacterial qualities.
Salt therapy can improve breathing by alleviating congestion,
coughing and wheezing. Improved breathing can lead to better
sleep quality and duration.
Salt therapy can also assist in reducing skin irritations and ailments.
BENEFITS OF SALT THERAPY
 Asthma
 Sinusitis
 Hayfever
 Cold & Flu
 Bronchitis
 Dermatitis
 Eczema
 Psoriarsis
 Flakey and
Dry Skin
COMMERCIALLY PROFITABLE
Salt therapy sessions can generate excellent income.
Sessions can be charged on a per session basis (A$10-$30) or access
can be granted on a membership basis (A$ 30-50) per week.
One 45 minute salt session will use around A$0.10 worth of salt.
INSTALLATION
One halogenerator can service an area of 100m3 or around 36m2.
This will be suitable for around ten people.
Existing rooms can be converted into salt rooms with relative ease,
with the addition of the halogenerator and an air exchanger.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
To support the effective use of your salt room, we have developed a
world first salt therapy training course.
The course can be completed online and involves all aspects of
operating a salt room, from use of the machine and how it works and
infection control to an examination of each ailment and how salt
therapy provides relief from the symptoms of these ailments.
