Personal Statement
As a recent honors graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, my studies as a Sociology
Major with a certificate in Race, Gender, and Sexuality & in Education make me an ideal
candidate to make a difference in the lives of others. I’m looking to leverage my many
experiences for a career in a related field. I have experience as a leader of a variety of
programs, ranging from student organizations to event planning, and I have proven to be
a successful teacher of both group and one-on-one environments.

 Recruit and oversee youth group of 30 kids aged 11-14
 Plan monthly events, keeping track of financial and membership obligations
