Master Layout Authority (MLA Engineer): - Create 3D models of components & component assemblies. - Create Master Layouts of the product in UG NX / TCE environment to represent the released version of all components, assemblies, kits & product structure for a specified platform. - Maintain positional relationship of all the components of a platform in assembly model. - Maintain checkout on all product structure components to prevent accidental changes. - Ensure the Master Layout always mimics the released product structure by updating the Master Layout for each ECO on the implementation date for that ECO. - Validate accuracy of Teamcenter Engineering (TcE) BOMs against ERP BOMs as well as 3D model integrity. 2. Design Engineer Manufacturing Engineering Department Product Assembly Document MPD/PAD (Former) December 2010 May 2014 Validation Engineer: - Validate Engineering Change Orders by initiating workflows to the components and address the change to the manufacturing. - Authoring and approvals of Engineering & Manufacturing Work Orders and address design issues. - Work closely with Design Release Engineers on engineering changes for first time quality as defined for the group & to keep track of jobs delivered. - Participation in CAB (Change Approval Board) meetings. Master Process Design & Documentation: - Create 2D/3D visualization work instructions/Master process designs as an extensive support to the manufacturing to reduce shop floor errors by delivering accurate and highly visual work instructions involving process sequence assembly steps. - Provide Assembly process documents for Manufacturing and assist the DE/ME to ease out component assembly.
