Key Duties:
 Regularly review and be familiar with all applicable legislation and applicable standards, to ensure compliance and
avoid any legal action/fines.
 Inform the project management team and supervision of any new or conflictive legislative matters that could impact the
project.
 Develop a Site Safety Management Plan (SMP) for the project to ensure a safe work environment for all company
employees, contractors, visitors and community.
 Giving information, instruction, training and supervision to the coworkers, other employee and visitors.
 Carrying out Risk Assessment for critical jobs to be undertaken on the project site and ensure control measures.
 Developing and implementing emergency procedures for any emergency situation.
 Organize and schedule required safety staff, first aid coverage and welfare facilities.
 Ensure that all incidents/accidents/near misses are reported immediately.
 Ensure safety boards with postings including but not limited to: Health and safety policy, inspection and audit results,
project hazard assessment, location of first aid, etc. are maintained and current.
