 A separate database VFD2 using LDAP will be used to identify IMS enabled B-party
subscriber.
 IMS subscriber location in IMS domain will be queried through HSS Server using
Diameter ‘Sh’ interface.
 Pseudo MSC Address will be assigned for IWMSC or IIW to easily identify SIP
originated messages.

Project # 6 CISCO – PGW2200 (Sustenance activity)
Description The Cisco PGW 2200 is a carrier-class call agent that performs the signaling and call-
control tasks (such as digit analysis, routing, circuit selection, and more) within the Public
Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) gateway infrastructure. Taking advantage of a vast
Signaling System 7 (SS7) protocol library and supporting industry-standard control
protocols, including Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP), and Session Initiation
Protocol (SIP), the Cisco PGW 2200 provides service providers with the capability to
seamlessly route voice and data calls between the PSTN and New World packet n/w.

Description Bharti Phase -2 is an up gradation of the Phase-I. Bharti have seven sites, and on each site

with Router setup. The router forward message to both Comverse, and non Comverse
ISMSC, therefore the router comply with Comverse system and other SMS systems. Main
features are :-
 Using the currently existing OMAP Messages Search feature
 Adding new Reports in existing set of the Oracle Discoverer Reports.
 Adding new KPIs to the existing Dashboard feature.
 After upgradation, Bharti Phase-II is having more than 22 new features.
