Bangladesh Bridge Authority is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Road Transport & Bridges in
Bangladesh, I am involving for the Dhaka elevated expressway (47 km includes 31 ramps) as a Senior EHS
Engineer and responsible for managing all environment and safety issues.
Accountability  Team member for developing Project budget ($ 1 billion);
 Implementation of Project EHS program and occupational safety and health regulation in
regional operations;
 Managing the main contractor;
 Conducting reviews of potential project risk and identifying potential mitigation measures;
 Maintaining expert knowledge of specific requirements imposed by governmental agencies

all three areas where 70% of time based in head office in Dhaka and Australia and 30% time based in offshore
platform, offshore rig and onshore gas processing plant.
Accountability  EHS Plans and Implementation- set up EHS KPI and develop, implement and maintain EHS
plans and progamme;
 EHS Risk Management- Team Leader for update of Field Safety Case and Hazard
Management that includes HAZOP, HAZID and QRA;

14001, ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001;

Cairn Energy is an independent Scottish oil and gas exploration and production company headquartered in Edinburgh. It had
operational interests in Bangladesh and I was part of drilling team as a project EHS Manager. Drilling team worked from
Singapore in the planning phase about six months prior to mobilization of the rig.
Accountability  Develop and maintain the project HSE KPI and Plans;
 Conduct hazards identification workshop (HAZID), risk assessment (QRA),
emergency response exercise;
 Interface with contractors and ensure their HSE management systems and plans are
aligned to the project needs;
 Conduct HSE audits for Rig, Vessels, Ware Berge, Helicopter and all others
equipments to ensure compliance with HSES international standards;
 Ensure compliance to ISM / ISPS / ISO 14001 and assist with interpretation of new
QM/HSE regulations from relevant entities.
