Current research being pursued for Masters Thesis:
Study About behavior of SMC-R Composites under Biaxial Fatigue Load
Objective
The objective of this research is to study the behavior of SMC-R composites under biaxial
load conditions. This is to be achieved by conducting systematic fatigue tests using Arcan
Method, compiling and analyzing test data. The data is then validated by using CAE.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
Analysis of Steering column support beam in HyperMesh using OptiStruct solver
o The effects of different types of flange joints were also compared, such as, Spot
welds, Seam Weld or in case of no welded joint.
o The maximum stress and deflection were analyzed to ensure it is within
permissible limits.
A set of four projects to develop look into possible specifications and issues for a MY2021
vehicle:
o To benchmark MY2021 vehicle with current equivalents and develop preliminary
design specification for the MY2021 vehicle using weighed Pugh charts.
o Developing a QFD, Requirements Cascade and Interface Analysis for a Selected
Vehicle System of the MY2021 vehicle.
o To prepare a Conceptual Design of the Proposed Vehicle and Technology Plan,
DFMEA
o To prepare a basic Business Plan for the Target Vehicle.
 BAJA 2014 (SAE India).
o Member of Suspension/Chassis team,Responsibilities were Design of Suspension,
Modelling of Suspension components in Inventor and Structural Analysis of
Suspension components, Space frame chassis in Ansys.
