Design and Simulation of GPS guided Intelligent Control (Smart) Antenna System in CDMA,
WCDMA and WIMAX Systems
A comparison of different adaptive beam forming algorithms that are also used for interference
rejection is done for real time applications. Also Global Positioning System based algorithm MUSIC
is also designed in CDMA, WCDMA environment and results are verified on DSK 6713.

Job Responsibilities:
Act as team leader and supervise survey and engineering teams during preparation of equipment
and systems for field projects.
Maintain, calibrate and keep all survey equipment in good working order. Keep appropriate
equipment status, calibration and movement records up to date.
Adhere to company health, safety, environmental, permit to work and quality procedures at all
times (both on / offshore).

Provide input to project procedures in conjunction with Project Manager / Party Chief.

Take responsibility for checking, fault finding and commissioning of survey systems. Provide
direction to other team members during such periods.
Attend briefing and debriefing sessions during pre and post project activities, including submission
of equipment, software faults reports and personnel appraisals
Log and liaise with Workshop Manager Norway regarding faults and repair of equipment.
Record and assist with survey equipment movements to / from vessel.
Report to Project Manager / Workshop Manager Norway on performance and suitability of
equipment.
Identify and recommend system or procedural improvements (modifications, developments or
alternative equipment).

Radio Planning for LTE 4G coverage introducing the new frequency LTE 1800Mhz band to the
existing Network for UMTS 2100Mhz (Live), UMTS900Mhz, LTE800Mhz (Planned) sites as well as
GSM900 and GSM1800.
Radio system design and planning of LTE800, LTE1800, UMTS900, UMTS2100 and GSM900 sites

Existing sites have been planned with more sectors, frequencies and technologies.
All this planning has been done to prepare our network for the future with very high MBB traffic.
Radio Planning in Telenor Norway includes the first analysis of an area, creation of RNP (Radio

programme consists of an initial period of two months with computer training and coaching courses.
Courses in project work, Module A, Courses in project management, Module B and
Communication Course "UNIK". After this, participants spends 10 months working for Telenor. The job

My main focus of Prakisisplass was to learn the procedures, technology, designing of CAD drawing

During my Prakisisplass my mainly task associated with engineering and documentation of Light
Structures fiber optic instrumentation systems for ships and offshore oil and gas.
I used CAD software IntelliCAD from Autodsys, Inc. for drawing block diagrams, fiber optic and
electrical single line diagrams as well as fiber termination diagrams.
Light Structures AS patented SENSFIB Hull Stress Monitoring system will increase the
vessel's safety, save costs and improve ship operator's competitiveness. The system benefits
tankers, crude, bulk and LNG carriers, FPSOs, container and cruise ships, navy vessels.
