The document announces that the author has written a book called "Perl Web Book" to address the misinformation around modern web development techniques in Perl. It aims to cover topics like PSGI/Plack, Web::Simple, Mojolicious, Dancer and Catalyst. The book will be freely available online and through Amazon.
