This document discusses a study that evaluated selective enamel etching when using G-ænial Bond dental adhesive. Group 1 did not etch enamel before bonding, Group 2 selectively etched enamel, and Group 3 only used G-ænial Bond without etching. After 2 years, all groups scored well on clinical parameters like marginal integrity and retention. However, longer follow-ups are needed to determine if selective etching is necessary when using G-ænial Bond. A separate section discusses using G-ænial Bond and G-ænial Universal Flow for resin-based direct restorations that were evaluated after 1-2 years and found to perform well.

7. Selective enamel etching G-ænial Bond
!
!!!!!
Group 1, Group 2 and Group 3 scored A for all the clinical
parameters tested after 2 year of clinical service; longer
clinical recalls are needed to clarify if the selective enamel
etching technique is mandatory when G-ænial Bond is used.
