Friar Lawrence sends a letter to Romeo about Juliet's fake death, but Friar John is quarantined and cannot deliver the message. Romeo hears the news from another source and buys poison, killing Paris in the tomb and drinking the poison next to Juliet's body. When Juliet awakens, she finds Romeo dead and kills herself. Their families' long feud ends as the Prince declares some will be pardoned and others punished for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet.
