GENERAL RULES
All games will be played on the default settings, unless otherwise specified, below.
Accidently 'pauses' by a player during the fight may force you to forfeit the round with
exception of the Inevitable Death Rule. Judge will ask the other player if he/she will
take the win or let the match play out.
Any player using Random Select to pick their character, must Random Select
again if they win the match.
If a player suspects there is an issue, the player must immediately call a Tournament
Organizer. If the issue occurs during the match, the match will be suspended, and if
after an exchange a problem is recognized, that game only will be replayed. If a
problem cannot be recognized, the calling player will forfeit the match.
Players are expected to act in a respectful manner and are responsible for pointing
out issues/broken rules at the time of a set. Results of a set will not change after its
completion.
Arriving 3 minutes late to your match once it is called results in a forfeit.
Rules are subject to change, and ROAR's Head Tournament Organizer has final say
in all disputes.
11. Rules
CONTROLLER RULES

respective consoles.
All converters are the responsibility of the player).

For 2 out of 3 sets, loser may counter-pick any stage not previously played
on. If the stage is changed, the winner may change character. Loser always
has the option to change characters.
14. Rules
(continued)
Sudden Death is ignored. If time runs out, the winner is determined by stock, and
then by percentage.
If both stock and percentage are identical, or a game ends with both players being
KO'd simultaneously (typically because of a Sacrificial KO via Bowser's Flying Slam
or Ganondorf's Flame Choke), then a tiebreaker is played. A tiebreaker is a 1 stock, 3
minute match with the same characters and the same stage.
Any action that prevents the game from continuing results is a forfeiture of the match
for the offender.
Stalling is banned. (Stalling is defined as any action that deliberately avoids all
conflict as to make the game unplayable. Running from an opponent to get to a better
position is not considered stalling, but using chain grabs infinitely beyond 300% or
using Sonic's Homing Attack repeatedly underneath the stage is.)
Some interactions (for example, interrupting a throw with a wind attack) can cause
one character to become frozen until being hit. If this happens, the free character is
expected to capitalize on this in a timely manner; a failure to do so is considered
stalling.
