We build robots and compete in various robotics competitions. The robotics club builds and programs robots, and occasionally holds internal competitions to challenge members. Members meet every Tuesday after school to build robots, program them, and prepare for upcoming competitions like the National Junior Robotics Competition and underwater robotics tournaments. The club provides a fun and engaging extracurricular activity focused on building robots.
2. What is Robotics
We are a club. We are vastly
different from every other CCA
there is. As you can already guess.
WE BUILD ROBOTS.
Robotics is not a physical activity
we rarely do running, but do not
think for a second that we are
boring. What we do is very much
fun. If you choose to participate
actively.
3. CCA DAYS and Activities
We have a relatively simple schedule.
CCA days are on all Tuesdays starting at 3pm,
for the sec 1s, you can use the time inbetween
school dismissal and CCA to have your lunch
then report on time. Our CCA is held at the 3rd
Floor Multipurpose room. (on the block facing
the canteen)
4. CCA days continued
On CCA days, we will build robots and
program, we will also occasionally pack our
parts to ensure ease of finding of parts
We will also have internal competitions
amongst ourselves to challenge ourselves and
in the days leading to a major competiton, we
will prepare and build our robots.
5. Competitions.
We will be taking part in the inaugural NJRC
(National junior robotics competion)
And various other competitons such as
underwater robotics tournament/bulls eye
competiton.
#4: (++although we seem to be a relaxing CCA, we are most active when we are joining competitons, do be prepared to come back during the holidays to build and program your robots to prepare for competitions. #examples, NJRC etc.
#7: Talk and explain, describe competition details, quarantine, stay back to build, bring home to build, responsibility etc
#8: Talk about experiences in robotics, how and what to expect etc.
