This pharmaceutical firm needs your help… • Pharma-Co is a large pharmaceutical company that is developing several new drugs. • The R&D unit is functionally organized today • An internal review concludes that the functional departments represent «silos» • People complain they spend too much time in meetings • Senior executives say that decision making is too slow • …they want to find an organizational structure that is aligned with the work processes Background The challenge How you can help: • We are not asking you to organize the entire company…just 12 people representing four different teams • Who should be placed on the same team? • See role descriptions for details
